PageFlakes

Like many others, I was very confused by the Dublin library page -and had to take time to orient myself. Another thing I couldn't help noticing was how big the PageFlakes logo was, as compared with the Dublin library logo. This makes it difficult to know where you are.

I hadn't thought about the size of the logo, but you're right, Andrea, it is a bit disorienting.

I think part of the reason why the page is confusing is that we're visiting it out of context. If you click a link to it from another Dublin web page, it's probably a bit more understandable. Plus, I believe Dublin uses the site as the homepage of their in-library browsers, so that again provides some necessary context.

Yeah, usually, if I encounter something like this online, I quickly go to a different page. It also took my computer a while to completely load the page, and then everything was going slow. Not my idea of a good time online.
