Social Software

The readings that I read for this weeks blog posting were extremely interesting to read about. I thought it was interesting to read about the difficulties that are present within groups, both in real-life groups as well as online communities. It was interesting to read about the psychology that had been conducted on these groups and how they intereact online. Where when the open source technology was used, the social interactions that were occuring was different than what the coordinator expected. Another thing that I thought was fascinating was about how long social software has been around. I hadn't realized that it isn't just a new technology, but has had some form over that last forty years.
