Blogs and Blogging

The readings this week were really interesting for me to read, before coming into this course I had some idea of what blogs were but had very little experience with them. In reading the history of blogging, there was many aspects that I had been unaware of. One aspect of some of the readings was that bogging is actually a fairly recent addition to the internet, only beginning in 1999. I thought this was interesting, because during another course I had done research into Google, and it also began around this time. Another part of blogs that I thought was interesting near the beginnings of their history, was that it was a way for internet users to be able to find information on the web by examining blogs that they found interesting. Which of course changed completely when their were too many blogs and were as confusing and convoluted as the internet itself. Overall I found the readings to be interesting and informative.
