Hi everyone -- just a reminder that we're having this week's chat tonight in this chatroom at 8 pm Eastern. If you haven't already weighed in on the poll to choose the best time for you for the weekly chat (starting next week), you can do so here. Also, I should mention that the weekly chats are not mandatory, so feel free to drop in if you feel like it (and/or if you have questions).

Some of you might have taken distance courses in the past, while others might not. I thought I'd start out by outlining exactly how this course is going to work, week-to-week, so that we're all on the same page. We do things a little differently in 9763, so even if you've taken a distance course before, you've probably not taken one quite like this one!

This is the course site for LIS 9763 (formerly 757), offered in the Summer 2008 term at the Faculty of Information and Media Studies at the University of Western Ontario.
